"separating and considering yourself more holy than others" (Isa 65:5)
"pharisees" (Luke 18:9-14)
"carnal" because of splitting into "select groups" (1 Cor 3:1, 3-4)
come to mind

Dora may have heard those things from the leaders of the meeting in question, I haven't. I will say that those things are common among the UCs though.

Yeah, even though the Ohio UPC district requested a tv resolution last year, we still have some kooks in Ohio.

It sounds like you really have some strong info here.
So come on out with it. Don't just sit back and throw mud like some of the others on these threads. Bring something substantial, bring some real confirmation about these horrible Hellenistic, evil men and their devil organization.

So many people want to paint that picture, but no one wants to show where they are getting the paint.

And before someone gets in a tizzy, I am not defending the men and the organization. I am defending the ministry, and the truth.
And until we have something to show those accusations and gossip is true, Its all just pure bunk. If there is some substantial "goods" to be shown backing up some of these claims, then I will certainly, willingly back out of defense of that particular area. But right now, its all gossip. I see a few people trying to stand up against the rumors and hearsay, and I commend them. But I will also continue to speak out against those who are spreading unfounded gossip and rumor.

Just for the record, IF those things were said then I also strongly disagree with them, and think it is wrong. But was that preacher UPC?(if not, the point is moot) I want to make sure I understood you right. You said you heard those things said from the preacher yourself?

I will say this, the church that happened at is not longer UPCI.

Maybe the Tulsa group is planning on resurrecting JCM to be the official bible school of the new fellowship. This would certainly bring TLC into their camp.

There is NO DOUBT in my mind that positions in the new organization are being used as carrots to persuade those on the fence to come on over! When you are forming a new fellowship, somebody has to fill certain political positions of authority. Those that have dreamed of being on general boards or district boards are their prey!

Why was JCM shut down in the first place?
