Well, I for one, don't care. I don't care where people are recieving the Holy Ghost. I don't care if its a Oneness church, or a Catholic chuch. Don't care if its at an altar or on the corner of Hollywood and Vine. I really don't care....

....as long as they are recieving the Holy Ghost. Because He, the Spirit of Truth will lead them to the truth.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The Spirit of truth came to our family in 1933. My little paternal grandmother, who was
a devout church member, heard truth on a street corner. An old white haired preacher
man, who spent his Saturdays preaching the gospel, then would hold open air revivals
afterwards. The Spirit of truth went to Jerusalem and Samaria, etc. I believe the time
of visitation comes to all towns and cities. Not everyone in those places received and
believed the TRUTH! I wonder how many have been deceived by well meaning but ill-in-
formed people.

My late grandmother and her son, my late father (who was 14 yrs at the time) were
sitting on their front porch, waiting for their ride to come to take then to church. They
were going to baptized in Jesus Name that night. A neighbor, a good Baptist deacon,
came over and told her, "Lizzie, you just don't know what you and the boy are about
to get into. You just don't know"! I heard my pastor father say many times, that if
the neighbor has been able to convince them, they would have missed out on the
most glorious experience this side of heaven. But Dad said, "Thank God, he came
too late"!
Five generations later, we still witness that the GLORIOUS GOSPEL is still GLORIOUS!

Thank GOD for the Spirit of truth (Holy Ghost) which still saves, keeps and thrills! TOO
many, TOO many times, listen to TOO many voices against TRUTH! TOO many, TOO long,
have HEARD all those stories, just as the good Baptist neighbor who was convinced against
the truth. What are we doing FOR or AGAINST the TRUTH. IS our WITNESS FOR the truth
that could/would set future generations of our family free! We are responsible for what we
know! Thank you, Grandma Lizzie, Dad and Mom, and others who held the GOSPEL dear in their
hearts and perserved it for me and mine. I have and will continue to do the same as long as I live,
the LORD being my Helper!

TRUTH sets mankind free from the law of sin and death. When those who were raised or
have known truth and becomes disillusioned and leaves truth, they are not only cutting off
their family but all those who would have heard truth through their words.

John 17:17
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

I have heard people say they can tell "fake" or "real" just by hearing or feeling in their spirit. Me? I'm not so sure. Seems that adds yet another layer of subjectivity, perhaps many more layers since it relies on individual opinions.

Yes sister it will lead them to the truth, but that doesn't mean they will except the truth.

My response is this... gifts are just that, gifts, but it is by fruit we shall know them. I know some really arrogant tongue speakers, and some really arrogant cessationists. I know many godly fruit bearing Spirit filled tongues talking Apostolics and the same with cessationist trinitarians. The scriptures declare in plain language that we will know them by their fruit.

Gifts are precious as they are from the Lord and should be treated as such. Fruits are our life showing forth the work of God as a witness to those around us.

You have to have a tree before it bears fruit. When a tree is first planted, you will see
no fruit. But give it time and nutrients, and water. Fruit starts on the inside with the flow
of the sap (Spirit). When the tree brings forth good fruit, it will be manifest on the outside.
What do you see on an apple tree. Hanging from those branches. A tree brings forth some
things BEFORE, you see fruit. What is the difference between a Bradford pear tree and a
Bartlett pear tree!!

Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for
ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting
of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Ps.104:16
The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he
hath planted;

Dear Brother,
Please read my post again.

AFTER they have RECEIVED the HOLY GHOST (the Spirit of Truth), IT, the
HOLY GHOST, which is the Spirit of Truth, will lead and guide into ALL TRUTH!

Of course they have to first HEAR, BELIEVE and RECEIVE the HOLY GHOST
before it can lead and guide them into all truth. The Holy Ghost IS A Teacher.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

The gifts are given to help or profit us. In time the fruit will come, IF it is not
hindered.

What IS fruit! Produce! What is or has your tree (life/body) produced! Fruit is what
begins inside and comes out in/with time! In the fulness of time! But first it
helps if you have love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness and temperance. If you have these gifts, you will most likely will have
some fruit in time! Think about it!
