SequinsforJesus,
Congratulations! I feel much better about you going where you are going than to Indonesia or some place like that.
Sounds like quite the adventure for your family. Hopefully you will have a good internet connection and can keep us updated on your new life there.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Do Canadians of Hispanic origin pronounce house "hoose" like native Canadians?

I've emailed a few times and knew he was Canadian but didn't know he was from your church! He's been pretty helpful so far just telling how it rolls down there. I'll tell him Monkeyman said to treat me right!

Internet shouldn't be a problem there...our families are barely tolerating us leaving as it is!
Guatemala's good...the civil war's been over for at least 10 yrs Hopefully I won't start a new one!

AAAaaaaccchhh!! now you've made me nervous, CC1. My pastor is leaving in May to go to Indonesia as a missionary/teacher!! What's the problem with Indonesia? Is it unsafe???? Come on now, reassure me. Make me feel like he's doing the right thing.
Sequins, I'm so happy for you!! This will be awesome, I am sure. Don't forget us here on AFF once you get there.
