MissBrattified, These newbs don't realize you are not just another pretty face in the crowd. You hit the issue squarely again. It is about relationships, not rote and routine. I agree it is sad the number who are lockstepped not really considering where they are even headed, or how silly they look.

I have been on AFF since the first day it "officially" opened.
I have a whole six months of posting experience behind me too.

well, seeing that only 2 people took issue with the incomprable MissB, and BOOM points out newbies (plural) and I are one of the 2.....BOOM, unless im mistaken, Ive been around at least as long as you, and maybe longer. The taste was not sweet at all in hind sight. I do not care if people call me a lemming or whatever, because if my pastor speaks on something, I am going to live by it. Closed minded? You bet. Keep the liberal captivity. I have true freedom in Christ, freedom I should never have left in the first place.

How can they possibly do that when people depend on it for their livelihood? It would be like cutting off the nose to spite the face.

The borg operates something like a hive. There are no individuals, only mindless, thoughtless, drones. They only do what they are preprogrammed to do. They are not capable of joy or individual expression. They survive only to do the bidding of the hive's Queen.
This is how I see many Apostolics today.
Incapable of any original thought. Only acting in response to what they are preprogrammed to do. The trouble is some of the things we are programmed to do are downright foolish, bordering on heretical.
God give us some men and women who are Apostolic originals!
God give us some men and women who can think for themselves! But when and if you do be prepared - you'll get crucified pretty much.
It's the way it goes when you're in the borg with all the other borgites.
