All those preachers etc, just added to the unbelief in the room. They just came to see the show. Jesus would have put them all out, before He healed him.
Bro. Larry,
Please explain this further. They were just there to see the show? I don't quite understand. Thanks.

Jesus did it at Jairus' house, Peter did it at Dorcus' house. Well meaning people of course, but they didn't believe those two would rise from the dead.
The more people you can get to beg and plead with God to do something, the better? HUH? YOU THINK? I had a thread here about a year ago, about a million UPC people praying for someone. Does God really operate like that????? Does He really have to be persuaded to do something His word says He has already done? Do we really have to "bombard heaven"? Is it really hard to get God to do miracles as this thread implies?? We probably need to reexamine the word to see where we are missing it. I know God does not miss it.

Rico... I am going to pray you get thru tonite and tomorrow without negative comments and thinking.....also, insulting words. Brother, I do not know how you can go on much longer with that spirit of bitterness surrounding you.
In the name of Jesus, I pray you drip with kindness and love from the Holy Spirit...
It just isn't right for Christians to insult people as you did above.... it just is not right! God is love!!!
Oh yes, you cannot possibly know anything for another person. There is no way you can read the spirit of another person.... to know what he has had to deal with in his life.....or how he has reacted with or without sin. Even if you are around another person 24 hours a day, you can not know what is in another's mind.

Since Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, God has already bought and paid for healing for everyone. God always answers every request for healing. He never fails to honor His promises.
The problem being discussed, is always on the receiving end. It's not a lack of faith. It only takes a small mustard seed of faith. The person seeking healing must believe that " God "is: NOW. That's present tense. " Now faith is". You don't need much, but it must be " Now". The person seeking healing must not have "doubt". "If you have faith and doubt not,...you shall say,'......mountain, Be thou removed...' ." ( Mat 21:21) It is possible to have faith and doubt at the same time, and one will neutralize the other.
That's just three simple rules. 1) Believe that God has already done it. 2) Don't doubt that it is done. 3) Say to the sickness, "Sickness, be thou removed".
God has never failed. God has never said no to any of His promises. If you don't see it happen, then the person seeking healing, did not follow one of these three simple rules. (Matt 7:7-8)

Sorry brother, but you're dead wrong! God does NOT heal everyone and it isn't because of a lack of faith!
Do you believe that Stephen was lacking faith in the book Acts when he was being stoned to death? Why didn't God heal him from the injuries that he was receiving?
What about James, who was decapitated? Why didn't God heal his neck injury?
I have a hip that was broken when I was thirteen years old. I was in a full body cast for over a year. Today, that leg is 2 1/4" shorter than the other and the hip is fused. The leg causes me a lot of pain and difficulty. I know that God can heal me right now. I have prayed and believed God and you, nor anyone else can tell me that I had a lack of faith. Yet, God has not healed me, for whatever reason. However, I know that my healing IS coming. It may be within my lifetime on this earth or it may be in my new resurrected body, but it's coming.
My grandfather was diagnosed with stomach cancer at the age of 58 years old. Our family fasted and prayed, along with this great Godly man. Our faith was extremely strong, yet we buried him at the age of 59. He's well today. He's no longer sick.
Brother, God does heal. I know that. I was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer when I was much younger in Houston's Texas Children's Hospital. The doctors did a biopsy and found the cancer. They opened me up, after the prayer of faith was prayed, and sewed me right back up. I was completely cancer free. God had miraculously and instantly touched and healed my body.
There's no doubt that God can and God does, but He don't always, at least not in the way that many preach it.
I know what it's like to be told as a 15 year old boy that my only problem was a lack of faith. Friend, all that does is destroy faith and drives people from God.
The bottom line is that God heals, but sometime the real healing comes through death and will be in our resurrected body. God is God and He can do whatever He chooses to do in order to fulfill His purpose.
I preached a message concerning this very subject a week ago. Anyone can hear it by going to http://www.abundantgraceofpetal.com/services.html and clicking on " God's Non-Intervention" and then clicking on the little Play Arrow.

Let me see if I comprehend what yur saying:
It all revolves around "the one needeing the healing" must believe that they actually were already healed as Jesus was taking his stripes. And then then @ that moment they will be healed? If that is what you mean, then why would we ever need anyone to pray 4 us?
Should we just skip someone ever praying for our healing, believe we were healed 2000 yr.'s ago, overlook the wheelchair (or predicament)we are in", and then we'll see the healing take place, which actually already took place, and the instance we believe that, we'll be healed?
What if we believed it before we were diagnosed w/ cancer or prior to an accident, would we not get hurt? Or would we not be healed just as quick as the accident happened, since we have a mustard seed of faith (that what we're seeing is not actually real), because he healed us 2000 yr.'s ago, with his stripes? I'm trying to understand exactly you mean.

I have a few different answers to this question that have run through my mind since I first read it. First, healing isn't the only miracle. I see miracles daily in my life right now. God does miracles, and plenty of them.
If you're asking specifically why God doesn't heal everyone, my answer seems trite. God is God. God knows everything. God loves us more deeply and passionately than we can ever possibly comprehend. If it's the best thing for us to be healed, we will be. If it's not, we won't be. I have to trust the very nature of God, that He is good, and leave those decisions up to Him.

Obviously, some people think they can make God heal, etc with their faith or whatever. God doesn't need us to make excuses as to why he does or does not heal, etc. It isn't about us; it's about Him.

Exactly... God is God and He knows that He's God and He can do absolutely anything that He wills to do. I'm certainly not about to make excuses for His judgment calls, because I simply do not know why He does somethings the way that He does. He didn't consult with me about it.

If today Jesus was in physical form, and was approached by the sick, would he heal them or turn them away?

Re: Why is it So Hard for God to do Miracles?
Folks, I find no where in scripture where anyone ever came to Jesus in faith for healing, and didn't get what they came for. I find nowhere in scripture where the anyone came in faith to the Apostles for healing (after Pentecost) that did not get their healing.
We can make all kinds of excuses why some do not get their healing, and the list would be longer than Stretch Armstrongs fully stretched arm. But it does not change the fact that God does not lie. He HAS placed within his Word a provision for healing to anyone that meets the simple qualification of believing, or taking God at His word. The bible states that people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. This is so when it comes to healing, as many are passing over solid scriptures that make provision for the healing of our bodies this side of heaven.
Ex 15:26: And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Ps 67:2: That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
Ps 103:3: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Ps 107:20: He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Ps 147:3: He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
Prov 4:20: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21: Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22: For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Isa 53:5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
[Isa 53:4: Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, And our pains -- he hath carried them, And we -- we have esteemed him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
5: And he is pierced for our transgressions, Bruised for our iniquities, The chastisement of our peace [is] on him, And by his bruise there is healing to us. (YLT)]
Jer 8:22: Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
Mal 4:2: But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
