Re: Blessings to all
Let's make sure we don't have knee jerk reactions here.
There are REASONS for everything.

In my opinion. the good doc has already hung himself.
Everything is being blown way out of proportion.

Okay, here's someone who may have a point. Maybe it should have been asked for privately? I dunno. But to say admin doesn't have the right to demand it is off base.

LOL!!!!!
Hey, you can be a doctor--legit and everything (graduated from med school)--and still be a stupid or bad doctor, e.g., a Quack.
Not everyone makes straight A's, ya know--some of them probably squeak by with a C average. That means they probably missed 20-30% of what they were supposed to learn.

That is what makes this all extremely troubling. And there are people who know of him in real life, I cannot understand why he would damage his reputation like this.
And the real crux of the issue IMO, is that he used this alleged degree to bolster his arguments on multiple occasions.

I am Mama Bear but NOT a real bear! I may act like one, I may walk like one, I even may smell like one...BUT, I assure you I am not a bear! I never claimed to be somthing I wasn't.
I applaud this forum for finally making him step up to the plate.
But then again, this is exactly what he wants, isn't it....attention?

If you posted info about children claiming to be a parent and therefore, having a certain level of authority, yet someone finds out that you lied about having children, yes, it's YOUR responsibility to set the record straight. One wonders why you would lie about being a parent and therefore, wonders what else you have lied about.
He's claimed having a brain tumor, having lots of money, and such like. Not that I care, but if he lied about his education, is he also lying about having a brain tumor, perhaps using that to gain sympathy from those of us who might otherwise care?
Remember what I went through on the other forum with a sick forum member who eventually 'died'. Getting your heart stomped on isn't fun, even if this is a virtual world here.
If he's truly got credentials, he should back them up when making claims that, so far, haven't been substantiated.
I'm a nurse. I graduated from college with a degree. I've been asked by other forum members nursing questions because they trust my education. If anyone wanted that info, I'd gladly provide it. Why? Because I made a claim about my education that, if it was important to someone, I'd provide evidence of that claim.
If I wanted that info to be secret, I wouldn't make the claim in the first place.
Understand that Dr. Vaughn hasn't made any attempts to remain anonymous on this forum. He's posted lots of info about himself and when people ask questions about the validity of his claims, he continues trying to cover up his lies instead of coming clean.
We depend on people here to speak the truth. We have no choice but to believe someone when they make a claim. But when we find out that claim isn't valid, it's up to the individual making the claim to come clean about it.
It's about credibility.
|
Credibility did you read the stupid stuff he posted??????? Good grief if he had 15 doctorates it would not make him credible.

Re: Blessings to all
Well, wasn't that private request undermined when it was made known to the general public [forum]?
I think folks should be truthful. And there have been times when I have doubted the sincerity, truthfulness and credibility of several other members of this forum, both past and present.
I just think it's vindictive to prove someone is a liar, for the sake of discrediting them. I don't think it's what "Jesus would do", per se. I'm okay with my own personal "feeling" or hunch.
If it has to do with posts within the forum, that may be one thing. For example, a person says one thing, and then contradicts themselves on another. Which statement was the true opinion? But this just seems to be going too far, to me--mostly because it goes beyond the scope of the forum.
