Re: Dark Blue/Navy Suit With What Colored Shoes?

we have a really great men's shop here in downtown phoenix. I do not even remember the name of it. It is just up the road from me and I pass it every day. They have imported italian suits in many styles and colors. Very nice quality also. They need someone with better taste to do their displays though. They mix some of the oddest shirts, ties, and suits.

I agree with [dark] brown shoes and brown belt as the best choice...but black works, too (for MEN), and is probably a little dressier. I think I remember my Dad wearing burgundy shoes with a navy suit.

For a woman, though...I think it has to be navy shoes, or a contrasting color--never black. JMO

You would wear brown shoes with a brownish colored suit, black shoes with a navy one.
