I don't think you got that right. I never heard her say she supports gay rights.

Sister go to youtube and listen to her debate with Joe the vice President elect. She said she supports gay rights as long as it isn't called a marriage.

Re: Abortion Will Remain Legal for Generations

Light,

She said she is is not for redefining marriage. What's the problem? You don't want to let someone who is a partner of someone else to visit them in the hospital? That's a far cry from supporting gay rights. She makes it very clear she disagrees with her gay family/friends.

You're kidding, right? You actually believe that using the death for political gain is worse than the death itself??? On THAT we most definitely disagree.

I support gay rights too. So what? Gays have rights too. Just not the right to marry eachother. I think gays should have the same rights as all of us. If a gay man wants to get married, he has the same right as I do...he can marry a woman.

And I'm sorry, if I have to choose between supporting abortion or supporting gay marriage, I'll choose gay marriage. At least no one is being murdered there. There'll be a special place in hell for people involved in that, in my opinion.

If the canidate of either party states they are against those things and then does not act on it, you are not responsible, IMO. But you are responsible if you knowingly vote for a supporter of obomination. Period. Dress it up any way you want but it is wrong! If you put ecomnics ahead of obominations then IMO you can't call yourself a Christian. That is Not being Christ like to vote for obominations.
Esther, 70 million murders is too reprehensible to me for me to be impressed by rhetorical positions or a group of people who" states they are against those things and then does not act on it". If you are not willing and depserate to act on that many murders, I don't know what you would be demming as more important. As I have stated before, I'm not sure what's more disgusting...someone who says that abortion is murder and we are committing a million murders a year, but does not aggressively act to eradicate it...or someone who genuinely states that they do not feel like abortion is murder in the legal or moral sense so they do not act to eradicate it.

And yes, many people have said that voting Republican is voting right. Both here and in churches all over the country. The GOP has been counting on that for decades now. I'm sorry, the promises that they make and the positions that they take when asked a direct question do not match the way they are being portrayed here and in conservative circles everywhere.

Tstew, Appointing judges who are constitutionalists and therefore pro-life is not a perfect plan towards stopping the murder. But it IS a plan.

What is your plan? Is opting out of the political process a good plan? Should we stop voting in large numbers until they will hear us? Is it feasible in our lifetime?
