Obviously you have never read that verse you have misquoted so I will post in in it's entirety for you and everybody else who believes in one step salvation.

Verse 31 says Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Are you saying you believe his house(family) saved to when he believed on the Lord Jesus Christ?

Verse 32- And they spake unto HIM the word of the Lord, and to all his house. Why is it so hard to understand that this guy didnt hear the preached word that bring faith to believe in Jesus (Romans 10:17) after Paul and Silas had went to his house. The bible is plain in verse 32.

Verse 33- Not only did the guy take them the same hour of the night and wash their stripes but he and his whole house was baptized straightway or immediately.

So what about the Phillipian Jailer poster? Why is it so hard to believe that Paul preached to them what peter preached on the day of Pentecost?

I see where this discussion is going and I will not have a debate from post to post with anybody whose desire to is to promote an Apostolic heritage that isnt Apostolic in Doctrine.

Whe will draw the line and ultimately will disagree with anyone who denies Jesus Name Baptism and being filled with the Holy Ghost as non essentials in the plan of Salvation.

Thanks for the comments about no more walls. My co host J.T Wheeler feels the same way as I do about this as well. We will not post here any more nor will we be drawn into a debate with anyone who has it in their heart to tear down the doctrine not only Jesus gave his life for but what the Apostles blead and died for as wel.

I also, wonder if AD Urshan, GT Haywood, Clyde Haney, and even Frank Ewart would be potential interviewees on this modern RADICALIZED 21st century program as they believed in light doctrine ... 3 steppers that believed Trinitarians were saved. Although, they believed the "truth" as you and brother Wheeler preach they fellowshipped with them and considered them as part of the Body of Christ.

I have to believe that this program, hence, is BUILDING WALLS that did not exist 80, 70, 50 years ago. Goss, Haywood, AD Urshan need not apply? The definition of Apostolic you and brother Wheeler seem to possess is inaccurate and revisionist historically.

There are great Apostolics alive today who believed the Acts 2:38 message and the Oneness of God who will not have a place at the blog's table because of an exclusionary, divisive paradigm.

Bump for Brother Sparks ... salvation doctrine aside ... standards is a wall this program is creating? How can you consider the PAW as part of the Body if this is so?

Your agenda to define Apostolic is an old spirit, IMO. See Westburg Resolution.

Brother, I applaud your stand on this. The Apostle Paul wanted the church to all speak the same thing:

"Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment," (1 Cor. 1:10).

On the important question of "what does salvation consist of?" it is clear that 3-steppers and 1-steppers are NOT speaking the same thing. Although some differences among the brethren are inevitable on some issues, I believe it is proper to draw a line and take a stand on this particular issue.
(And I don't believe this should be a matter of contention -- the founders of No More Walls certainly have the right to draw the lines as they see fit.)

Obviously you didnt read my post. The phillipian jailer was saved when his family was after the heard the word preached and they were baptized. I do believe he was saved but not just by believing as you are insinuatiing that this is all one has to do to be saved. I am making this post because many on this forum has a heard time reading a post as it is written. They want to add things to it and misrepresent posts made.

Again I am no longer going to discuss this on this forum. Would an administrator please cancel my membership on this forum. I will not fellowship with people who desire in their hearts to throw away Jesus command to b born again so their one step trinitarian buddies can be saved.
