Almost ALL the stores that sells shoes no longer carry any size under a 6.
So what are the ones of us that wear a 5 supposed to do? Go barefoot?
For the second time I went into a store to try and find ladies dress shoes. The lady that ran the dept informed me they didn't carry any fives, but that I could try the children's shoe dept that they carried 5's. Knowing I had already expressed I was looking for a ladies dress shoe, I asked her with lots of wonder in my voice, "Oh, your dept carries ladies high heel shoes in the CHILDREN'S dept?" "Oh, no but they have sandals!!! Where is the red face anger icon when you need it?
So I remember that someone on NFCF told me about a website that you can order shoes and return them at no cost if they don't fit. So I went shopping today and found the very shoes I was looking for. Unfortunately, the little darlings are going to cost me over 200.00!
I need Margie to start me a writing campaign. And all the supporters that can find sympathy for us folks with small feet, who like to where shoes also!
Well I got that off my chest, but goodness this isn't right.
Where is Newman, she ought to know how to handle this unfair situation.
Although most of the better shoes are made overseas.
I think I am going to suggest a boycott of one brand at a time until they start accomodating little feet also.
I mean how would you feel if you couldn't find any shoes to fit your feet and when and if you do, you pay the price!

Oh well You can start being honest and admit you really are not a size 5 HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Hey, I wear a size 11 1/2 and RARELY find that...they usually have 11s or 12s

I'm Mad TOO, Esther (anyone remember the Eddie commercials?)
I wear narrow shoes. I typically order all my shoes on line. I actually measure an 11 B and I can get away with 11 Narrows with insoles. I shop at onlineshoes.com and the brand name web sites from Johnston-Murphy, Allen Edmonds, etc. Even my tennis shoes are ordered online from New Balance. I can occasionally find narrows and the occasional "B" width at Dillards and some of the finer department stores. And, I DO pay through the nose for them.

I have reported a significant problem to you. NOW how do you propose we resolve this situation.
It appears to be two-fold now. Sizes small and large are being ignored.
What are your suggestions?
Write to the manufactors?
Write to the distributors; department stores, etc.

All the above?
I know size 5 use to be the sample size and you could get really good deals on size 5's, but I doubt they are anymore.
Check this website - I put in Women's size 5B - reasonable prices!

Thanks, I checked it out and they had 22 pair to choose from. Not many I particularly cared for, but at least another place to search.

Any time I have bought shoes online, they haven't fitted properly. I gave up.

My results have been good. Of course, most of the shoes I buy on line I have already purchased in person so I know how the shoes run as far as fit.
Plus, our (men's) shoes are much, much more practical and not nearly as likely to have problems with fit!

This is my first time to order on line.
Since there is no cost to return I took the chance.
Don't know about companies that I would have to pay to return.
