got the milk, bread, bananas and t.p.!!!! ready as I'll ever be! weather man says between 2" and 4" plus bitter cold temps.!

I can remember several years ago when they predicted 2-4 inches of snow. We ended up with about 14 inches of the stuff...
I am praying that doesn't happen again........

Only in the south!
One county in MS has already closed their schools for tomorrow - - message scrolling across the TV is "schools will be closed for possibility of winter weather" - - hahahaha!

Chester County Schools Closed
Hardeman Co. Schools Closed
Hardin County Schools Closed Thursday And Friday
Holly Springs Schools Closed
McNairy Co School Dist Closed Thursday & Friday
It's a good thing though-- because of many of the bus routes are secondary roads, and they don't get salt/sand treatments. They only do the bridges on secondary roads here-- and the main highways. If we get snow/ice-- and live on a secondary road-- we just hope it clears quickly because the county does nothing to help the process.

Currently 11; we had -23 Mon AM. Now that is cold even here__Since 1935, only 8 other winters with temps that low.
I grew up with 80" as a normal winter snowfall.
Here it snows but doesn't usually last. Currently we are on day 32 of snow covered ground.
This afternoon we got another 5" and wind. The wind is supposed to stay and blow all of the snow around tomorrow......yay 
Oldest daughter in Florida is freezing; her furnace needs repair.
They're going to tie or break their record low.
