But Mexico is not the only source for our illegal immigrants.

Illegal is illegal, Esther. How many of us go over the speed limit? If someone will break a speeding law, what makes me think they won't break other laws?
You know very well that coming to this country to try to find a job to feed a family is not the same kind of crime as holding up a bank. It may not be kosher, but it's understandable, just like we're understanding of breaking speed limit laws when we're in a hurry to get somewhere.
As for other nations--since when are we modeling ourselves after other nations? Oddly enough, when it comes to socialized healthcare, we don't want to be like other nations--we want to retain our American ideals. So on this issue, we're going to look around and see what everyone else is doing? No, we need to examine our principles, morals, and even scripture (yes, Christians should reference scripture to determine their politics), and determine what is the RIGHT thing to do.
Again, I am FOR regulations that make the border more secure. I'm also for sending anyone who has a criminal background back to where they came from. In the meantime, we have incalculable numbers of illegal immigrants already IN the country who need to be dealt with, and in a humane way that reflects American compassion and ideals.
And our jails are full of illegal immigrants that have broken the law.
Speeding is wrong, but certainly not on the level of coming into a land illegally.
Coming for a better life I understand. However, there is a legal way to enter here.

We are broke as a nation. I am tired of my taxes continually going up because we are giving money away, while putting our own people in jail and taking everything they have away from them because they are unable to pay their taxes.
Is that right?
If we have it to give, I'm all for it.
Someone coming here for a better life...I'm all for it IF they do so legally.

A lot of Cubans (which is kinda funny since Cuba has better health care than we do). Can't count Puerto Ricans since they are unofficially the 51st state.

I'm with you on this.
Legal immigrants I have no problem with. It's the illegal aliens. I use the word alien because they do not belong here if they are illelgal.
So how long will it be when major job-producing companies, and even more medium-sized and smaller companies are sued for paying the illegal immigrants less than minimum wage?
As for most of the aliens coming from Mexico, that is simply not true.
The Mexican government enables the aliens from central America and some of their Mexican citizens who decide to come over.
The Mexican government shares a part in our problem. I wonder how much money they have contributed towards securing our border with their country?
Illegal aliens and their children should be deported, immediately so that they can submit the proper paperwork and applications to come in. There needs to be an English test to-- FOR ALL IMMIGRANTS. If there is one already, it needs to be vastly improved.
