I don't know about all that, but signs of repentance should follow...

I should have stated "Is simply not adequate to restore credibility" I did not mean adequate for forgiveness.

Cymbala worked with LW after he left Mississippi.

Nothing ironic about this billing.

My music was greatly influenced by Lanny Wolfe and the first time I ever walked into a UPC church - was because it was heavily advertised - THE LANNY WOLFE TRIO would be in Concert with the JCM Choir.
I went - was blessed - but kinda shocked - it looked to me that every single guy in the choir looked exactly alike and especially the girls - the all looked exactly the same! I thought it was an incredible concert - but the look was so odd to me! LOL I was Church of God and did a lot of LW music.[/QUOTE]

Atlanta Bishop, What year was that? Some of us posters may have been in the chorale or LWT at that time.

The Church of God have purdy girls!!! We have the COC Lee University singers at our church several times a year and at our music conference and then the school choir has sung a few times over the years when our choir is out of town singing somewhere.

I have noticed that almost all of the girls in the choir and Lee singers are gorgous. I told my college aged son that if I were him I would consider going to Lee!!!

Bakersfield had a sound that was different from the slicked up Nashville, sound it's a different country sound. You could use that sound to play some gospel music with.
The lead guitar players used Fender guitars with alot of treble.

I didn't know that. I grew up near Bakersfield, but I didn't start listening to country music until 2 yrs ago.
