BTW, AFF gives you free advertising of the new forum (approx 2" x 8" banner (I measured it so I wouldn't be called a liar)) with each post you make - they honestly don't have to allow that if they choose not to.

The latter first, I think all members who have "advertised" their individual businesses, forums and blogs sites in their signature area appreciate the various owners under Regimes I, II, and III for allowing this ... me included. I registered AI during the buzz surrounding its usage in January of 2009 ... I believe ...
The intent was to build a new blog site very similar to Apostolic News ... before AN even existed. Still have the Wordpress magazine blog template. A handful here, including Miss B and Mike Blume, might remember being invited to be a contributor to this a planned magazine blog site whose purpose was to give a full picture of our Apostolic Identity ... much like the divergent views we see here at AFF but in a magazine blog format ... not just a one-sided propaganda campaign. I think Miss B and Blumie were on board ... among others.
As NOW suggested in another thread ... a domain name is chosen to generate interest like any "business" ... I have always felt that no one owns a monopoly on the word Apostolic ... much less our Apostolic Identity ... and despite the misgivings of many, I remain more Apostolic than they'll ever be. Much like those who have misgivings about the domain name here ... constantly questioning it's Apostolicness or even if we are "friends".
