Oh, I'm so short, that would probably be calf-length on me.

I did get into trouble one time for wearing a knee length skirt on the platform--one of the church ladies complained that they could see my thigh [????!!!!!] when I was seated behind the organ. *sigh* Maybe so. I think she was just being persnickety, but it was a tall platform. (putting my knees at eye level)

Very nice! Too short for me. Yes, ditch the hat. I wonder what the men actually think about all the clothing?

I bought a lined, red and black, cheetah print jacket the other day and gave it to someone else. Even though I have a knee-length red jacket, it's not my favorite color.

I didn't know that. I heard she stated that she has worn over 5,000 hats!

That suit was special--it was a peachy-colored suit that Jeff bought for me for Mother's Day--the first really nice outfit he could afford to buy. It had a little hem that I let out, and it was just below my knees standing up, so in fairness, it probably did come up a little when I was seated. But my thigh???? Really?

Naw, the hat is awesome! She's pulling it off just fine.

Some of these men wear powdered wigs - they have no say.

Yes, she looked stunning in the hat. I couldn't pull it off, though. Also, the simplicity of her outfit allows the hat to be a show-stopper instead of being obnoxious.

LOL! I wouldn't wear a dress to church that showed my knees when sitting down.

Yes, she does wear it well. But, we were talking about us having the outfit. If that were the case, we would ditch the hat.
