I don't wear none, but say it's same reason a women does, adornment. The question is, is it suppose to be only for women? It does seem in bible women were adorned.

I cannot speak for all men when I answer your question but I can speak for me, so here goes:

Why? Because I like to wear them, I like the way they look and I like the style.
I don't wear mine daily, just when the outfit warrants earrings. But simply, I like them and I like the way they look, so there is the answer to your question. and since you asked a second question about wearing make up and such I shall answer it as well,

No I don't wear any of that, and the earrings I do wear are not in a lady's style, I wear masculine earrings. There really is no comparison with earrings and the other stuff you mentioned, but I guess in some folks minds its apples to apples.

Can't something just be REALLY DUMB to do, without attaching religious or moral elements to them? (Another good example of REALLY DUMB--tatoos, which I'm sure has several threads already.) Of course, REALLY DUMB is purely subjective, but no more subjective than how we often attach religious reasonings, too. (The need for certainty.)

Like you said, it is subjective. I love my tats too have 3 so far and another on the way soon. But, subjectively speaking, It isn't dumb to me. I enjoy art and especially art that conveys a Christian message, that is my reasoning behind my tattoos, they all convey something I want to make a statement about and the each have very personal significance to me. I didn't get them for religious reasons but they each carry a Christian message.

No matter how you believe...would you like to help me feed the hungry?

We are having a mass outreach to the hungry next week...I have talked to a local grocery store and tey said they would sell me whatever I can raise and wait for the money to come into my account...we need money for veggies, meat, rice, plastic bowls, spoons etc...

At first we were talking about raising for 300 people but now some are wanting us to reach out to 1000 or more hungry people...It is impossible for us to raise that much without American help...

If you could send any amount to my home address I will count on it...I only have to buy the items next Tuesday or early Wednesday...but the grocery store will let me pay later if I know it s coming in.

We often do this but not to a thousand or more at one time...usally a few hundred each time...Please help me help the hungry...

No matter how many persons in the Godhead we believe in, no matter what we believe holiness is, no matter what we believe about endtimes or whatever...there is something we can all do together and that is give something to eat to a hungry person...

Thanks for caring enough to read this and thanks to those that will give any amount...I will take pictures so that you will know where your money went...

Every missionary has an obligation to their supporters and that includes me...

There ya go....Some Christians still put message stickers on their cars. Some will argue that's "completely different" because one's body is a holy temple, and a car is not. Some of us remember the "Jesus Fish" of the 80s and 90s. (Or for a few maybe a car is their holey temple, heh,heh.) A Jesus Fish is still dumb whether on my car or my body, but I merely crack a "really dumb!" smile when I see similar pasted on others' bodies or property.
