Miss Me — But Let Me Go

When I've come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me;
Remember, I'm free of a heavy load
Don't cry for a soul set free.

Miss me a little — but not too long;
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love we all shared
Miss me — but let me go.

This is a journey we all must take,
And each must go alone.
It's just a part of our Master's plan;
A step on the road home.

When you're lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know;
And bury your sorrows in doing the Lord's work,
Miss me — but let me go.

"Good grief".....I was holding it pretty good until I read this and I couldn't hold it back anymore.

I posted on FB that heaven hasn't seen fiesty until today. I'm sure that sweet, little lady is dancing and happy as she can be. I'll have to let her go.

Me and my wife are with heavy hearts.

We weep with you AFF.

We have lost a so very dear and sweet friend.

Rest in peace Cindy. You were certainly loved on AFF.

I always thought she would just eat her chocolate and be okay. LOL! We had so much fun and one reason I have such a high post count. So many images in the entertainment, decorating, recipe and shoe threads. We exceeded our fun level some days - I am going to miss that - dreadfully!

I too am in shock, just shocked! I don't think the truth of it has set in. I want to rejoice that she has made it home, but like I said, the missing part is hard to get over.

Just floored. She was just posting and liking posts on Friday and now she's gone.

I wish there was a quick way to call up all the responses that she made to me, and to everyone else, as far as that goes. Just looked up the meaning of the oxymoron "Good Grief!" That should be placed on her grave marker.... That's probably what she will be saying as they shovel the dirt on her grave plot. "Good Grief!" Loved you Cindy!

Re: Cindy needs prayers

From her pastor:

David R Bethel It has been an honor to be her pastor, she was as sweet in person as she was on FB.

David R Bethel She has not been well for sometime now.
Two weeks ago The Lord impressed me to go to her home and have communion with her and her husband Mike, ( who a very good man ) so I did.

We read scripture together and prayed and took communion, it was very a special time for the 3 of us.

Wow! Know her pastor well. He doesn't know me as Been Thinkin' tho, I don't think! I hope someone will post the details of her memorial service. I would like to send some flowers, from Been Thinkin'.

Re: Cindy needs prayers

I just asked Pastor Bethel if he would give us the arrangements once he has them. He agreed to do so. I will probably start a new thread once I have that information.

Re: Cindy needs prayers

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

Shocked! One who is in my earliest memories of AFF. Truly an original work of art.
Goodbye Cindy for you will be sorely missed!
