Each tribe was given a territory, except the Levites: God was to be their portion. That
is why tithes were offered to the Lord FOR them! It was God's way of providing for the
Tribe of Levi. Additionaly (aside from the tithes), the Levites were given the 6 cities
(of refuge); which were, Kedesh, Shechem, Hebron, Bezer, Romath, and Golan.

No, if there is no person the Lord requires us to give it to, then it is not robbing God.
Now, the only folks that ever received tithes were priests, right?.......

What does this have to do with whether or not the modern teaching called "tithing" is the same as the Bible doctrine of tithing?
