People joined the Vision of the House yesterday - what did you think it meant?
On Saturday night this week - we will have a GET ACQUAINTED NIGHT Banquet for 80 of our recent guests. We have about 10 - 15 new guests every Sunday and usually 3 - 5 on Wednesday.
When people come forward to Join the Vision - Several Elders take them to the fellowship hall where refreshments are set up and they share with them in 5 minutes our Vision and then give them a Membership Packet and ask them to pray about it and return the paperwork on the night they come to the Get ACQUAINTED Banquet and that night - we celebrate them as NEW MEMBERS!
We also Celebrate all new members on the First Sunday of the month.
This Sunday we will set forth and ordain 5 new Deacons.
Did you know that Christ Church Nashville does not have any members?
Hey CC1 - Yes, I did know that. We have members - but they are non-voting. Our Board of Presbytery provides the covering and the Bishop provides the Vision and the implementation of it. Only the Board of Presbytery (of which The Bishop presides) has a vote.

Atlanta Bishop you are a trip.Ingrown facial hair? Heres a helpful hint though.
If you shave it you won't have to dye it.When my hubby grows his beard out there is more white now.haha..he hates it.

I prefer to shave but my well groomed facial hair on a brother is ok to me.
To me it's a matter of personal preference.

They allow beards at your church as I have been there and saw them myself.

Personally I have bigger fish to fry,I figure the Holy Ghost can guide one into wheter they should have a beard and such.
