FERD,
in the spirit of your efforts in this thread, I feel compelled to ask another question.

If folks oppose THAD's style and content of posting in the THAD's tab area with the same deliberate tenacity that Thad engages discussion, how is there any inequity if Thad's reacts to that purposeful countermeasure by choosing to leave?

Ferd, help me out here.

I will help you sir. quite simply, that isnt what has happend. Thad got leaned on by some folk whos leaning carries more weight than you or I.

Thad didnt leave because he was challenged in the open forum.

Those doing the leaning are going beyond this forum methinks .... in their attempts to silence. ... and it's not the first time.

I believe Thad covered it in the first post of the farewell thread. Everything that needs to be known (to the forum as a whole) has been said.

From everything else Thad has told me (and have sworn to secrecy) I echo the sentiments in the first post in this thread!

Sometimes I think some just want this forum to self-destruct. Just when activity comes back to the forum....POW....a silencer.

Ok. Thanks for supplying that assessment of what you understand to have happened.

I will now move to the dark, lurking shadows and see if this understanding continues to prevail or if somebody like Kansas Preacher is going to join the thread and say it's yet another rumor to keep the fires burning!
