And the masses bought it. And the evangelicals bought it. And now here we are a week from election day and the hand writing is on the wall. It could have been avoided if christians and conservatives hadn't abandoned their principles to allow a snake oil salesman run away with the nomination. Now its time to reap.

Another blind NeverTrumper who is living in an alternate reality. Hillary's supposed 12 point lead in the ABC poll last Monday has shrunk to just one point. Trump leads in other polls. A major game-changing scandal has just broke. And Trump is starring a major blow-out in the face? Get real.
And what are these priniples you think were abandoned?

We'll I guess I'll quote this post a week from tomorrow, and we'll see whose been dealing in reality.
As for abandoning principles, when evangelical conservative Christians who claim allegiance to Christ, His teachings, and principles, line up behind a foul mouthed, unrepentant adulterer, who is a casino tycoon, publicly lascivious, and a serial liar and slanderer, all the while telling everyone else that this man is God's choice. That is abandoning moral and religious principles. Even if we only talked about political principles, he has flip flopped on every policy issue in this election cycle. He has no principles, and those blindly or gullibly following him have set theirs aside for politics.

Re: Trump 2016
7 of 8 polls today give Clinton the lead. Trump leads in only one.
As far as principles abandoned... Basic conservativism. Pro-Life. Family values. Not supporting the lgbt lifestyle. Free trade. And on and on.

By your standard there has never been a candidate you could vote for. They do not exist. Oh many have professed Christ, but what was the outcome? They were just as active in selling out this country as the others. By "values" can be summed up in two words, "religious liberty". A candidate does not have to be living the way I think he should in his personal life to get my vote. What I want to know is, will he not use the Executive Branch to attack my faith? Will he veto bills from Congress that attack my faith? Will he appoint judges that defend my faith? We Christians have been barking up the wrong tree for years. Instead of focusing on moral issues we should have been focusing on the Constitution.

Still haven't updated this post yet? Not surprised.
And we have not had free trade in years. It is true free trade he wants to bring us back to. If you think these trade deals have not been designed to weaken America, then you are clueless on economics.

Really? You actually believe Trump would do that? Great is thy faith......in a proven immoral, unrepentant, dishonest MAN.
I'll trust God, even if Hillary wins, He's still in control.

Re: Trump 2016
Hellery is not an option for me.
I have thought and meditated the last month over whether to vote for someone whose character I utterly despise w every bone of my body(Drumph), or to vote a write in, or not vote at all.
I just utterly detest the devilish personality and character of Dump. And no, I don't trust him.
But, it boils down to him and hellery, and in light of their stated stances on the issues that are so important AND w respect of SC justices in the balance, I will vote for Trump. I personally have chosen to do whatever I can to not waste my vote on the issues that are up in the air. I've chosen to vote for the candidate that claims to hold to more biblical things like in regard to abortion and ssm .....whether they do or not is totally out of my hands. And yes, I "get it" when it comes to our Republican Party has become a disgrace.
Photo below is what it boils down to for me...the stances taken...because there's too much on the line, to feel like I wasted my vote. No offense to anyone that chooses otherwise.

Re: Trump 2016
I Have Held My Nose Long Enough
I’m not holding my nose for a Republican candidate for President who is not a Republican. I will not hold my nose and vote for a man who funded the Clinton machine for years and had them at his wedding. I will not vote for a man who funded Democrats against Republicans then funded establishment Republicans against conservatives. I will not hold my nose for a man who mocks the values I hold dear. I will not hold my nose and vote for a man who mocks my God.
And I tell you this truthfully — if you vote for Donald Trump, do not ever expect a better candidate. Support for Trump sets a threshold for immoral cretins running for office. If he can get your vote, they can get your vote. You will find no better candidate in the future if Trump is who you support now.

Re: Trump 2016
So Hillary will be better?
In the long run, right?
