Oh and Aquila's picture of the Temple Mount Faithful priest reenactment garb? Right.
Aquila sleeps in the nude, why should anyone be surprised at that? Dad can I have a drink of water, wait son I have to put my ancient Israeli bathroom robe on. Hey, the wife has the same exact one. After all ancient Israelis all looked the same from far away.
If Aquila and friends were in the first century A.D. If the woman caught in adultery was brought in front of them and Jesus. They would of all stoned her to death. Jesus would of just shook His head, leaving their names written in the sand, then wiping the names out with His foot.
I know, I know, you really think it would of been the Ultra Conservatives.
But the scary fact is this, while they drip with love, talk about grace, and peace. The minute they find an opportunity they will split you up one side and down the other.
My mom use to say, watch out for the Reborn Christians. They are the biggest hypocrites.
Ok, I'll tell you a story.
My mom and I went to go buy a Cadillac for her. She found the car. The salesman who owned the lot came out to talk to us. He was wearing a cross around his neck that was pretty large. Anyway, he goes up to my mom and tells her, I'm going to make you a great deal. Because I'm a CHRISTIAN. My mom did her imitation of Mr Spock on Star Trek with the raised eyebrow. Then she told the guy, forget it. As we pulled away in my Lincoln, I asked my mom, why? Why did you shut the guy down. She said, because he had to tell me he was a Christian. Just make the deal. Don't tell me anything, just sell me the car for a fair reasonable price.
But that's the nature of the beast. Religion is the most flipped out thing going. You people would nail the doors of a conservative church shut and burn us all alive inside.
Oh, but you all believe that's the conservatives. That the vampire Ultra Cons would do that to you. Yeah, you have the most craziest horror stories where the pastor sacrificed all the youth group to Molech. How the pastor was making huge crazy money off your tithes and offerings. How the pastor would light his cigars off your hundred dollar bills you would throw in the offering.
Seriously, God help US all.

Bro you always come back to playing the victim. You lash out, you insult, you condemn, you tell people they need to get saved, etc, then play the "poor me the misunderstood conservative". I'm not buying your wares.
I meet you head on over the issues, over doctrine, and over your spirit and demeanor. I post pretty aggressively, but as I've asked for before, quote the post where I say you're hell bound, a false Christian, or some other personal insult. I did call you idle, and its debatable whether I should have done that, but in that conversation you were trying to throw condemnation on a man for providing for his family, telling him to move to the ghetto. Beside that where do I condemn you, anathemize you, say things about your family, your intelligence, your physical appearance? All these things are constants in your post. Goodness, if someone makes a spelling mistake you note it.
Another reason I don't buy your act is I don't believe you're half as bad as you come across. On here your spittin nails, I don't believe you're that hard headed in person. My wife and I have been talking about the possibility of moving to Florida, we'd really like to be in central Florida, Orlando/Tampa/Lakeland area. If I do actually move, I'd gladly meet you and buy you lunch....and maybe get you straight on some things.
I don't believe you're a bad guy, but in fairness, I do believe you are a legalist. I do think you are dead wrong on some things. And while we post here, where perhaps hundreds of people lurk and read, I'm going to continue to call you out on your legalism, on your insults, on your projecting, and all the ways you reframe the narrative.
Even if you squeal like a pig.

Who is spitting nails now. Jason you are such a bad D Joe. Let me get this straight, you are going to move to my wonderful state but haven't the foggiest idea how far I live from those places? You know Jason, I still don't know what you believe. Please, wait, before you start to make the list, I have seen it. It is absolutely confusing. I never play the victim, that isn't me. But you already know this. You like your political ally Aquila (isn't that funny Jason?) are the ones who cry and complain about conservatives, Apostolics, whatever you think your right about at that moment.
You see, you are the ever changing man. So who knows how you will end up. I really hope you get the Holy Ghost. Honestly I do. I'll be praying for you.
Lunch? If you are willing to drive a couple of hundred miles, but who I am here is who you will meet. Only difference is that in person you will hear me laughing hysterically when you try to defend your unBiblical positions. You get to see my facial expressions when you are fumbling for something to say, or when you are calling Aquila to advise you.
Jason, do you and Aquila agree politically?

Lol. Your post reminded me of something that happen at Ft. Knox. I was in OSUT for 19-K and it was the day before our 15K road march. It had been raining the night before and we had gotten saturated in the field and a number of us were having some problems with our feet, mainly blisters. An NCO on reclassification in our platoon told us a secret to making a road march easy on the feet. Knee high pantyhose. So we gathered some cash and elected to send two of us the the AAFES PX to pick up about 27 pair of knee high pantyhose. I got chosen, so we hauled tail to the exchange. The lady cashier was really taken aback seeing two soldiers buy up nearly all the knee high pantyhose. Lol We got them bagged and hauled back towards our barracks. That's when we got stopped by an NCO in 1St. Armor. He wanted to know where we'd come from and where we were going. Then he demanded to see what was in the bag. He looked a bit confused when he saw pair after pair of pantyhose, and he asked what they were for. When we told him they were for our platoon, he was speechless! LOL He then looked like he was in disbelief, and told us to return to our barracks. So we did. Our platoon guide felt like the DI might get word on the hose and try to take them from us. So we broke them open and hid them in the hollow bars of the legs of our bunks. The DI did search wall lockers and general quarters, but didn't find anything. We thought he was looking for the hose and we were busted. The next day, as we prepared for our march, we dawned our hosiery expecting to get caught, but none of the DIs inspected us for hosiery, we succeeded! The Sgt. was right, they significantly reduced friction and made the road march far more bearable. From that moment on, I respected the use of pantyhose, especially if you had the hump your ruck for 1-10 miles or more.
So, yes. I've worn pantyhose.

Perhaps. The job I just took has locations in 40 states, several in Florida. We've vacationed there several times, though not gone further south than Tampa. But its beautiful there, I love the weather, and no state income tax. It's like Texas, only better weather. I can live with avg temps in the high 60s Nov through Feb. And property taxes are way cheaper there than here. Yes I might show up in your state, and if so, then sure I'd drive a couple hours one day to meet up. Met up with folks here in Tx a few times. Typically find that even with different views on AFF, most people here are good folks. I imagine it'd be the same with you.

Believing God is one, justification by faith, salvation exclusively through Jesus Christ is confusing? Ok.

Political ally? We done went around on that, ole Aquila is a Bernie/Hillary supporter. We don't agree on several areas, both political and theological. But he's right here. I don't war against posters, I just talk issues. An ally on one thread may be an opponent on another. Thats why I don't get worked up as someone was concerned about earlier on this thread. I'm serious about the discussion, but I don't get worked up over these silly forums. In one thread you get beat up, in another thread the amen corner. It's just a mental exercise that helps us to consider questions/objections/arguments from others we may not have considered and how to answer those. On occasion a really good challenging posts drives one to study. To me its like a mental scrimmage. Anyone taking this seriously just needs to take a step back a drink a coke.

Ever changing? I changed my views on tithing around 2006. Soteriology in 2010. I admit where I've changed. Where else? Where are all my flip flops and constant changes?

Thats ok. It'd be a bit of a disappointment. Honestly you were nice when we spoke by phone a few years back. But even so, if I can have a former pastor threaten that God is going to kill me, I'll be bacjslid, lose my family, etc. And still not think ill of him, still visit him and eat a hamburger and debate theology without a shed of hate in my heart, I imagine I could get along with you even if you want to act like Steven Anderson.
