I for one nominate the deletion of the trinnies are lost thread. The topic wasn't started out of a sincere desire for dialogue. Just a self righteous diatribe.

If there are posts you feel are crossing the line, use the report button to draw the attention of the admin team to those posts. They will be reviewed by the admin team, and IF necessary, action will be taken. The action may not always be immediate or swift, due to the process of review-- but if needed, action is taken whether you see it or not. It doesn't matter if the poster is lib, mod, con, ultra lib, ultra con or whatever the other labels are that everyone likes to place on posters.

If you feel action is not taken regarding the posts you refer to, it's more than likely because the admin team isn't here to babysit and we don't go hunting down bad posts.

Did I mention that posters need to Use the report button?

I will second that.

But why run to Daddy every time someone is "over the line" as we see it?

It seems most of the stuff is best handled by allowing the poster to reap the repercussions from his fellow posters.

I believe in SMALLER government. Guess I am alibertarian at heart.

Well, here's how I see it. I believe and prefer a self-moderating board and we have tried to allow that around here.

So, admin shouldn't be blamed when things happen if we are going that way.

If you want admin to step in, then you need to report it.

Make sense?
