Next, with regard to the discussion that was being discussed, I just don't see the mean spiritedness that others appear to have heard. Three guys expressed disappointment that AM's message was "the same 'o, same o'" according to their perception of a few admitedly scant "sound bites."

(Can they be called 'sound bites' even though there was no sound? Also, what is the correct spelling for "same-o, same-o?")
Same Ole Same Ole...

As to the negative, it is inherently negative when you have the agenda that all tradition is oppression and then make the remarks that were made. That is not a critique... it is a condemnation. They are "disappointed" that AM has not chosen to throw out as much as they have. Hooray for AM.

I'm surprise that anybody would think that AM would. He's just too concerned and wants to have the right influence. He's never been a shill for one side or the other, or even for the middle. He seems to have a good pastor's heart and tries to keep everyone under the "shadow of the wing" (Psalm 63:7, and many other verses). That's never an easy task.

And thanks for the help, Bro. Phil. I'll be getting you a cup of coffee one day.

I was with Anthony as an untitled assistant when he was in Plano, TX. I count him as a friend and a man with a heart for souls like no one else I have ever met.

The coffee sounds great and we can arm wrestle over who is going to "get" the coffee for whom!

Absolutely no need.

By the way, if you're the one that helped 'Wink' get on here... Thanks! He's a great fellow and we love him dearly in our 'neck of the woods'.
