Amen. One has to simply NOT CARE what the others think, and only what God thinks, when it comes to thinking. When it comes to reaching souls, we care how they think. But when it comes to standing up for truth, we cannot care what others think. Had Paul been fearful of men, he would not be the servant of God he was!

I have been praying that God will remove the scales from the eyes of every person who is currently unable to see that there are some among us that have an agenda that is crushing and cruel. These same people have a desire to build their own kingdom instead of God's.
These are sincere thoughts devoid of any animosity and anger. I am truly, truly concerned.

I have heard much speculation among UPC preachers that if the television issue passes, the organization will drift decidedly left at a very rapid rate. If the freakycons get their way with the tv issue, do you believe the organization will drift to an even more extreme version of holiness?

Here is the paradox really....IF that is true then in reality the UPC is already decidedly left..
Why do I say that? Because NO resolution requires all UPC pastors to have TVs, stop preaching against them, advertise ON TV or otherwise approve of TVs in any way shape or form whatsoever...so if the above is true then the UPC must overwhelmingly already be left to begin with and or there just are not enough anti TV everything licensed ministers to begin with

What PP won't admit ... is that inside .. he's got a rooting interest .... I think he's a closet liberal and wants the org to go down the greasy grace slope ....

Something tells me that there is a move afoot to bump the org very hard in a totalitarian direction. I think we are underestimating the borg (collective) in a big way.
They are scrappers and fighters. They won't go down without using their version of a nuke. I keep hearing very loud rumbles of a bigger split from men who are usually perceived as very level headed.
