I personally love to see interracial couples in churches! As well as seeing just people of different races in our churches. I actually make it a point to go and make them feel welcome and love. I'm South myself
I just find it hard to explain the power of the Holy Ghost to people who have suffered from any form of bigotry in an Apostolic church. I just personally find it hard to accept that it is possible for one to be Holy Ghost filled and bigoted at the same time. I may just not be taking into account how deep-rooted and subconscious some ideas can be but.....

Some of my kids that are intermarried are not welcome in some churches and have been told so...
I seriously wonder if an Apostolic racist will make it to heaven.

I'm not so sure there is such an animal.

Oh, there is indeed such an animal. Maybe you've never see it, but it exists.
I could tell you stories I've heard of in Apostolic circles... would make you cringe.

My point is that I'm not sure a person can truly be Apostolic if they are a racist.
There's some pretty clear cut scripture about not being respecters of persons, and in fact, James said that if we have respect to persons, we do commit sins.
I'm not talking about the label they wear, I'm talking about what's truly in one's heart.
Hence, I say one can't be truly Apostolic and be a bigot.
In my opinion, at least.

I could tell ya'll some stories that would curl your
hair(if straight) about racism in the church, things
I've heard preachers say and do. I wont repeat it
as it would only aid in causing bitter feelings and
stereotying
Things have improved and most people will say
the right things so not to appear bigoted but
privately tell their kids " not in our family". They
say the right things publically but when it hits home
things change very fast.
