It's true!
I remember one time in particular when I walked into a shop in HK. I greeted the clerk, looked around a bit and she said something to me that I've never forgotten. She isn't the only one to have made similar statements but coming from someone who quite likely never
ever heard the Gospel and knew nothing of Truth it impacted me that day in a very special way.
She said to me in Chinese that I was beautiful and that I had a "heart of love". She said she could see that in my smile and that she could "feel" the love.
Well, she didn't really understand what it was she was feeling or seeing of course. It wasn't about beauty because I'm not that at all! But it was the beauty of the Spirit of God radiating from me that she felt. She knew there was a difference. I told her that it was because I had the love and the Spirit of Jesus in my heart. I didn't have enough of a handle on Cantonese at that point to go much further but I wanted her to know it wasn't just "me". That there was something greater.
I can still picture her in my mind and have prayed often that she would be saved.
How awesome it is that we carry His presence with us wherever we go. The greater the darkness the more bright the Light that shines out of our lives -- or it should anyhow.
