Re: Pentecostals Vs. Charismatics
from my understanding the bible is pretty clear. Anyone who comes to Jesus was led by the Spirit. No one simply comes to repentance cause they want. The Holy ghost Convicts.
remember we cant save ourselves, Jesus said no man can but with God all things are possible.
when Convicted it births true repentance. Jesus described that the angels in heaven Have a party. Its like the lost son comming Home the father restored him immediatly.
Some are on milk some our on meat. so one cant say if there on this step or that step there not at full salvation yet. That is mans idea of stepping up stairs.
Paul states we were not givin a spirit of fear, but a spirit of adoption, for by one spirit are we baptized into one body. Even Jesus said No one can pluck out of my hands those the father has given me.
your either a bad tree or your a good tree, your either a child of God or your the Child of the devil.
There is no fence to camp out on.
Me personally I believe that God atoned for all sins. Even the ones that are future and havent been committed yet.
True repentance is a change of heart, instead of living life in sin, one wants to live a life pleasing to God.
Repentance means change. The bible states that Gods Spirit gives birth to your spirit,
true repentance leads to a life style change and is evidence of fruit
i think that is a problem today we preach were in and out of salvation, when salvation is a free gift to those who except it.

True repentance!! Changing your mind and changing your direction. Headed God's way, rather than your own way.

I believe you have the Spirit of Christ when you give your life over to Him. I think there is a difference in this and the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit draws you to repentance, the Law tells you why you need to repent. Without one, the other is useless.

So the Trinity lives in us? Father, Son and Spirit?

Huh??? Who mentioned the Trinity? But yes, if they're all one, that One resides inside us.

You're being questioned because this looks like you believe that there are two spirits, that of Christ and one called Holy.
