I will gladly pray for this man's healing as he is a child of God as are all of us, but cannot bring myself to send him one solitary nickel. I do know there are throngs who worship at the feet of LS that will though so I am confident he will not starve because of my refusal to fund him
My prayer for LS is three fold. I pray for his healing, that his eyes will be opened to the doctrinal errors he preaches, and that he will be a good enough man to admit those errors and try to undo the damage he has done.

They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

While I believe in miracles, this will never happen. When people begin to believe their own hype and stardom to be divine, they never change.
Too much pride.

If your church took up an offering for this Brother, would you contribute to that offering?
Why or why not?

My church has no clue who LS is or any other UPC figure (other than my exUPC pastor). However, speaking theoretically, no I would not give one single penny of my money to support this man's ministry in any way.
Not because I am unchristian and would let him starve but because I know that he is a highly revered preacher among many UPCers and they are going to take care of his earthly needs as far as food and shelter go. Any money I would give would just be signifying support for him that I vehemently do not have. I would liken it to giving money to the LDS church or Jehovah Witnesses.

Re: Bro. Lee Stoneking
Wondering why this thread is open and the thread for
prayer for Bro Stoneking is closed??
Those who care.....I've read several tweets that Bro Stoneking
is still very sick and needs continued prayer.

And what makes you think folks here do not care? Can you take me to a post where anyone said they are NOT praying for him at this time?
Be not deceived into thinking that nonsupport of an off the wall doctrine is in any way an unfeeling attitude toward LS and his sickness.
It's called discussion...
