Newman was indeed a lady in her presentation. She was scholarly and her being an attorney helped her in her presentation. She cited lexicon after lexicon supporting her position but when Sabellous came on the scene and took her pseudo arguments apart piece by piece dismantling her on her presentation of the Greek she did not understand she had no answer!!! Then she left. He sent her packing. I always appreciated her demeanor though I despised her false teaching. She claimed to believe Acts 2:38 or hell but would not argue for it because nearly all her cheering crowd not only did not believe in the any outward standards they did not believe the new birth message. And since then have even went downhill worse. RDP has scholarly defended his position and y'all have howled at the moon. Most of y'all are like myself have little or no understanding of the Greek yet wanted to act like you was born in Athens Greece.

But you got exposed. Truth endures forever.

The truth is, the ultracons, despite all their claims of superior holiness, don't have any more signs following them than the non-ultracons they think they're superior to.

The reason the ultracon sect is shrinking is that folks have started reading the bible for themselves and realize that their 'standards' arguments have little scriptural basis. Thing is, for the most part, it's 'standards' which the men in their little sect have invented and promoted and placed upon the people who dare not dispute the man they look to as a Godlike figurehead. Any questioning of the teaching will bring swift judgment against them.

People just aren't buying what they're selling any more and rightfully so.

The fact is, someone getting sick of posting and going on to bigger and better things is NOT "running away" no matter who the person is or what the subject is or even said position on it.

By the way, RDP, I admit I was at times rude and sarcastic. I should have probably been less so. Oh well. No need to recap that point in your next hundred responses.

But the thing that really torques people off is the condescension. You clearly think we are less worthy, less educated and less intelligent than you. You proclaim it in nearly every single post. It's probably a defense mechanism you have, but it brings out the reaction you should expect.

Recently, I was teaching on principles of gender distinction & separation (not isolation) from the world. In the process thereof, I simply had the church turn to Deut. 22.5 & we all read it as I was solidifying my point about how God wants men to act like men & ladies to act like ladies.

Read this carefully: I did not say one word about pants on women.

A woman who had been visiting immediately came up to my wife afterward & unexpectedly said, "I am sorry I have been wearing pants to church, I have never seen that Scripture before!"

See what happens when honest-hearted folks without an agenda allow the clear implications of the biblical text to define their lifestyle (instead of the contrary)?

She also started "letting her hair grow" out.....& I said nothing in her presence about women not cutting their hair.

Sincerity....It's a beautiful thing....So much for the "shrinking" of our "sect!"
