Mercies of course. Correct doctrine matters also. We are saved by the Grace of God that has given us the correct doctrine and the mind to obey that correct doctrine. And who is being prideful? I have stated facts. If what you are saying is true, then it matters not what we believe because we all just hang on the mercies of God. Well I disagree. It is His Mercy that leads us to repentance and to the correct doctrines. It is His Mercy that brought us into this precious Apostolic truth.

There is a Grace that is absent of truth. The existence of a Grace absent of truth does not negate the need for truth. It highlights it.

On something's we will agree and something's we won't.

For the record I don't believe that everybody is saved or is going to be saved.

It is hard to call a man prideful. I don't know you. I can only speak for myself that suffer through seasons of a prideful heart. It grieves me.

We disagree because I am under the friends section of the AFF.

Unfortunately, if you are not Apostolic, you will probably go to hell-- which is why some are critical of the efforts of some to reach out to people who are not in the truth to make them feel any kind of comfort when in the back of our minds we know that our very own doctrines, even our Bible-inspired doctrines demand that these folks go to hell! While we should never be rude and I am never rude to my friends, but I would be rude to my friends if I had the cure to cancer and didn't tell them about it. Ultimately, God is our Judge but why hang on the outskirts when you can come close and be warmed by the flames of truth that burn brighter and brighter as we draw closer to the day of our God and Savior's return?

I've never seen that in real life. I only seen that in videos like that BOTT from the other day. I guess the Spirit is subject to the Prophet, but that's not near the problem with the tongues and Interpretation that goes forth in a charismatic church...

Without the second work of grace that the apostles speak of in almost every epistle, we stay stagnant. Though we Apostolic's seem to be the only people on the face of the planet who believe in true transforming grace. True it is unmerited favor that reaches out to you, but it also gives you the ability to do what you could never do in yourself. God gives you the ability to hear His commandments, and walk in obedience to them. Not out of obligation, but simply because "if you love me you will keep my commandments."

Through that submission it changes you. It makes His desires, your desires; in that He truthfully does as is promised in Psalms 37:4 "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."

While grace that is just the initial work is only half grown. It does have power to make you conscience of your need for God, and His overall power only to give you the favor to come close to Him you could never earn or deserve; but what that does to you seperates the men from the boys, and the fake from the authentic!

(This isn't to you Buckeye but something I felt to.add to that statement above.)
