A Forward edition will not suffice ... either these men will need to be voted out of office ... or the org will need to spend resources in re-teaching against this faulty dated mindset. These guys have the potential to weaken the org further.

Absolutely true! Possibly the local assembly's influence has dwindled, so the only power of keeping the saints is intimidation. How many saints are submitted not because of love, but are cowered to believe that their church is the only one?
