Semantics,
If what you are saying is true and not just trying to prove a point then you believe that humans don't die either. It's just our flesh that lives or dies apart from us right?

We as persons do not die, really. We are absent from the body and present with the Lord when the body dies. Our person continues on.

I'm thinking there are numerous biblical passages that would disagree with the assessment that we do not die.

Of course we die. But technically, the person lives on. You do not agree?

No. God is eternal and cannot die.
I see your whole point is that "GOD DIED". God is in a position we're not in. Manifesting as Son as well as being Father. We cannot make comparisons to humanity. I guess it is futile to repeat that point any further. People will believe what they want.

I see no big issue, personally. The bible does not make the statement, so I leave it at that.

Yes but Doctors declare those persons brain dead even if the body is functioning. The Person has died and what Jfrog is getting at is not a medical term or a legal one but the normal term we use and the bible uses for dying

- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Exactly! The "God did not die" argument seems to assume death means ceasing to exist...but clearly does not mean that
