Ughhh, Paul is the very one who said, "I DO NOT ALLOW A WOMAN TO TEACH, OR TO EXCERCISE AUTHORITY OVER A MAN, SHE IS TO REMAIN QUIET.....THESE THINGS I WRITE TO YOU SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE YOURSELF IN THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD, WHICH IS THE CHURCH." I mean how much plainer could he possibly have been to church members??????????????? Sheesh!

Believe what you will, I'm sticking w/ the Bible....the very one you "preach" out of! "LOL" indeed!

Oh, & by the way, YES, I've helped to lead some out of their "women preachers in the church" ideas & will continue to lovingly do so, since these precious souls have to stand before the same God who inspired I Tim. 2 & I Cor. 14:34 someday.

Unfortunately, one went back into the false doctrine [& caused much embarrassment to her family]...but, trust me, she's been trouble for at least 4 pastors that I personally know of. Her problem is that she has a problem staying in her place & loves the position of authority, which is NOT a woman's place in the NT church economy.

It seems now you are accusing Sister Alvear of being in false doctrine. Is this correct?

Quite simply women preachers in the church is a false doctrine & diametrically opposed to the clear language of I Tim. 2:11-15 & I Cor. 14:34.

I've repeatedly said that I honor Sis. Alvear for her sacrificial spirit, this is not an endorsemsnt of her every doctrine. But, to satisfy your mind, I believe that the only way to Biblical salvation is Acts 2:38/Jn. 3:5. I believe in ONE God, w/ no "distinction of 3-divine persons" in the Godhead, etc.

Re: Can Women Pastor ?

well, that works both ways...lots of men have brought shame to the cause of Christ...I think this is endless because I DO NOT believe Paul meant a woman cannot preach for he had women preachers with him...
However we will see on judgement day for here on earth we will just have to agree to disagree...

Where does the literal text state that Paul had "women preachers" w/ him:____________? This was the same Paul who strictly forbade women from positions of authority in the church [I Tim. 2:11-15, I Cor. 14:34, etc.]. As usual, women preacher advocated read something into the text NEVER stated by the same.

I personally can't see what there's to "agree to disagree" about....Scripture could not be plainer....but whatever you say.

Blessings anyway...................
Blessings.................

Re: Can Women Pastor ?

I disagree with you Brother. It is not false doctrine for women to preach or teach. In fact
Paul encouraged them as well as Peter to prophesy.

BTW do you believe the Bible teaches team ministry or the one pastor in the pulpit thing?

When the Bible says go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel that includes all
disciples including women.

If you argue that its not to be done in church then lay off because Sister Alvear
preached her first sermon in Brazil out under a tree.

We have to teach the whole Bible not just our favorite parts that agree
with our own philosophies of men.

Who was the book of 1 John written to? Consider it is you who may be preaching the
wrong conclusion.

Most of the Apostle Paul's sermons I gather from reading the New Testament were never
preached in what we call a traditional church. They were in Synagogues or houses etc.

Sorry, the Bible says just the opposite in I Tim. 2 & I Cor 14. I'll stick w/ the Book!

In fact
Paul encouraged them as well as Peter to prophesy.

And prophecy is not a sermon from the Scriptures to a congregation of believers, as Strong's/Vine's/Thayer will quickly demonstrate.

BTW do you believe the Bible teaches team ministry or the one pastor in the pulpit thing?

A local church body does not have 2 heads. God is not the author of confusion.

When the Bible says go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel that includes all
disciples including women.

Being a soul winner is not the same thing as delivering sermons from the Authoritative Word of God to believers. I Tim. 2 & I Cor. 14 is dealing w/ church order, not soul winning as Mt. 28 is. You're meshing contexts.

If you argue that its not to be done in church then lay off because Sister Alvear
preached her first sermon in Brazil out under a tree.

I will not allow ANYONE to propogate a false teaching IN THE CHURCH. Besides, she came after me, not vise-versa, so maybe you should counsel her...not me!

We have to teach the whole Bible not just our favorite parts that agree
with our own philosophies of men.

Now we're getting somewhere....including the very plain language of I Tim. 2 & I Cor. 14:34! Will you take your own advice?

Who was the book of 1 John written to? Consider it is you who may be preaching the
wrong conclusion.

Then deal w/ the very plain language of I Tim. 2! Demostrate how I'm in error instead of making unsupported assertions.

Most of the Apostle Paul's sermons I gather from reading the New Testament were never
preached in what we call a traditional church. They were in Synagogues or houses etc.
The church is simply the congregation of saved folks...not lost sinners. Buildings have nothing to do w/ the believers who have obeyed Acts 2:38. But, can you provide me just one single verse where a woman ever preached sermons to believers out of the Scriptures:____________? Yes, I can show where men did...before you ask!

Absolutely HAVE to run 'till 2mmorrow. Blessings................
