Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
Miriam is the 1st woman in scripture given the title of prophetess. She is alongside her 2 brothers in ministry and has a God ordained position of great authority.
SThe Concise Greek-English Dictionary of the New Testament says the word prophesy means:
proclaim God’s message, preach; prophesy, predict… An Intermediate Greek-English Lexicon abridged from Liddell and Scott’s Lexicon says prophesy means: in N.T. to expound scripture, to speak and preach under the influence of the Holy Spirit. The Enhanced Strong’s Lexicon writes this about the word prophesy:to utter forth, declare, a thing which can only be known by divine revelation. To break forth under sudden impulse in lofty discourse or praise of the divine counsels. Like prompting, to teach, refute, reprove, admonish, comfort others...
So that would be ok? Lol....

I am sorry that we have crossed swords but never not even in the face of death would I deny that my Lord called me to be a missionary....Being a missionary has been my whole life...I never get tired of the missionary call...and am thankful for the thousands that have been washed in the blood of the Lamb...and while on that note...It was He who called and brought them to His fold...I am nothing...even the donkey did a better job at speaking than I have done....

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
For many years I worked at a lonely leper colony and over time knew all the folks there...One Sunday we were going to have a baptismal service...not like you do in the USA...but most of them we laid in a sheet and lowed them into a special made tank...this certain morning a doctor called me in and said, Missionary is your church going to baptize so and so. I said yes...he said please be careful with her legs...(we wrapped them in plastic)
Many of the "untouchable outcasts" became first class citizens of heaven....
I sat in the home of a witch doctor also a leper and told him about Jesus...both he and his wife Isabela had the dreaded disease...After telling him why I was at the colony he asked me if our religion had been around a very long...
Shame on those that would try to close anyone's mouth... We are all commanded to Go into all the world and preach....the Lord himself gave the orders...
No, my brothers you would have done so much better than me...I am so sure of that...however rejoice that a few of your earth brother's have been made into His likness...
Our baptisms there left blood in the water many times...

Yes, it is a waste of time - they're like concrete - all mixed up & thoroughly set!

LOL - No, prophesy does NOT mean "in N.T. to expound Scripture" - & I've asked been asking you for years to demonstrate this "in the N.T. (or even OT for that matter):____________?
Still waiting .
*Sigh* - This is exactly what we;ve been telling you for almost 100 pp. now - Prophecy is NOT a sermon from the Scriptures - never has been & never will be !
So that would be ok? Lol....
|
Ummm, of course women can "break forth under sudden impulse in lofty discourse or praise of the divine counsels" - And?? What on earth does this have to do with "preaching-teaching" sermons to men in the church contra I Timothy 2.11-3.15 & I Cor. 14.34 (just to name a couple) ?
Explain it away until doomsday - it'll still be there !

Ummm, okay? What on earth does this have to do with "women-preachers" in the NT church ??
"Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and dancing." (Exodus 15.20).

No problem Sis. Again, I respect & appreciate your love for the lost. Yes, we vehemently disagree on this issue (to put it mildly) - but I still appreciate the sacrifices you've made to win the lost (which, again, both men & women should do).

And?? What does winning the lost have to do with women "teaching-preaching" in the church??
The "shame" is upon those who seek to make the Word of God of no effect:
"11 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner....I am writing you these instructions so that, 15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church."
Sorry Sis., It means exactly what it says.
No, my brothers you would have done so much better than me...I am so sure of that...however rejoice that a few of your earth brother's have been made into His likness...

And, I give you my word I greatly rejoice in the souls you've won to the Lord !
