What Did You Sign Up For?

I've been thinking about something, a question I have. I suppose it would probably be best for some of the pastors around here to answer this question, but I'd like to know exactly what it is we sign up for when we become Christians. Other than the obvious, which is salvation of my soul, what is included in the New Covenant? If we've entered into an agreement with God then what are the details of that agreement. He promises to do what, what, and what, in exchange for me doing what, what, and what? Is my question making sense? I just realized that I really don't know the answer to this question, but I do know that I've entered into an agreement, a deal if you please, with the Lord. What are the details?

I guess I would simply answer - It is his covenant and his work in my heart and life. He drew me to him and I now am his. I owe him my all.

Hehehe. Well, not the responses I was necessarily looking for. Maybe that's why I think it's best for pastors to answer my questions. Hopefully there are a few here that can add something of substance to this thread. I'm looking for scriptures that basically spell things out for me. I know, I know, I hate it when preachers think they have to spell everything out! But, in this instance, I am opening myself up to having some things spelled out for me. So, who can give me the details on this covenant I have entered into with the Lord? What are His responsibilities? What are mine? What are His promises? I wanna know 'cause I feel like I have made a deal with the Lord and don't even know what all that deal entails. I know that salvation is the ultimate result of this deal with him, so you don't have to give me the "you get to go to Heaven" answer. That's too easy! LOL! I want details!

Ok. So you're one in a million. Let's move on! LOL! Unless, of course, you can answer my questions.
