Re: Modesty and Insanity

What a waste of words! I just wonder where in the world Steve is going to see all these "naked" insane people!
Is someone "naked" because they wear short sleeve's or shorts or a dress to their knees and not to the floor? Is someone "naked" that wears sandals instead of shoes? They must have a lot naked people running the streets of Fort Worth for him to be so worried about it. I think he needs to call the police department instead of writing about it! NAKED PEOPLE EVERYWHERE! LOL I thought NAKED was when someone had NO clothes on!

As Ray Steven's sang -
'It's me again, Margaret...
(Evil laughter)
Hello, is this Margaret?
Margaret, I know it's you, Margaret
Are you naked?
LOL - Naked people are everywhere! Steve must live in a BAD neighborhood! LOL
What in the world kind of hotel was he checking into LATE NIGHT that had GIRLS GONE WILD playing in the lobby???? Lord have mercy - I sure would steer clear of places like that! Not a GOOD place to stay - maybe they had LOTS OF NAKED PEOPLE THERE and he got inspired to write!

Re: Modesty and Insanity

I wonder if SP sleeps fully clothed? I read on down and he has posted enough on his blog about nakedness to publish a book! I guess it would be called "The Naked Truth?"

Re: Modesty and Insanity

I don't think he meant short sleeves or sandals because his people wear both...I looked at the article....I think he meant dressing ungodly...

Hmmmmm - Does anyone else find this odd? What in the world kind of places does he stay in?

May not be completely naked yet, Bro. AltlantaBishop, but we're getting there!
I remember many years ago a missionary telling about seeing people in the
country where they had been sent, completely naked. It may not be that
America is quite to the point of being totally naked, but give it time. There
is nothing quite like having ears to hear, yet not hearing, and eyes to see,
yet they cannot see! In my 71 yrs I have seen many things go from bad to
worse. Not only in the world but it has crept into the church. Life is not as it
was when I graduated and married a couple of years later. That has been al-
most 52 yrs. I believe many have eyes that have been blinded from reality or
truth!

I have seen preachers that once preached modesty and righteousness, but
no longer see it now. Divorce is rampant in the church, just as it is in the
world. So much sin and degradation but who will stand up for righteousness.
I feel very sorry for those who have preached truth and righteousness, but
are no longer consistant. Their poor children and grandchildren will suffer from
their lack of consistancy. IS it being made manifest that they were not all of
us, because if they had have been of us, they would no doubt have continued
with us. This is not intended to be offensive, but this is serious!

AB, did you really read the article? It's pretty good, and not at all in the context that you're portraying it. (Which is what leads me to suspect that you didn't read it all the way through, if at all.) SP didn't mention anything at all about short sleeves or shorts or dresses to the knees or floor.
