The way I look at this is that eventually someone has to get the day of Jesus return right, if only by some stroke of luck, not necessarily because they have great arguments, so why not this guy.
he gives Seven Proof Points of this coming.
Wasn't there a guy who gave 88 reasons why Jesus was coming in 1988?
I need to start preparing just in case he is right, unless Jesus actually returns on April 15, 2014, only two 2 weeks away, which does not give me enough time to sell all my goods, find a pretty white linen robe and find a nice mountain to go there and wait for his return.
Of course if none of these dates pan out we can look forward to August 7, 2022

He might say something like "the relations between Russia and the US are heating up over the Ukraine. I don't know what will happen. Could this be what starts WWIII? Will this event start the countdown to the end of the Age?"
I have not checked out his materials in a long time, but I did follow his opinion for about a decade.

I wonder if anyone knows what has happened to those false prophets that have gotten the date wrong, have they been stoned by the church or their followers?
are they so unashamed to still be preaching after being proven to be false prophets and more importantly do anyone still follows them?

The heresy hunters are still with us. Only now, instead of stakes, they use their books and radio programs to destroy those they consider heretics.... I'm concerned that heresy hunting may be turning into leukemia because some cultwatchers seem more intent on destroying parts of the body than healing the body....
