Im baaaack! dont know if it is a good thing
Well I guess I have returned.

I went back to work today and thus could not help but come back to AFF.. hee hee.

Two months of being both home and away from all internet forums must come to and end I suppose.

I have missed my friends here but it was nice to just say "no"

hee hee....

nice to see you guys...

Good to see you're back, Ferd. Are you pain free now, since having the surgery?

Not pain free. but much better. i was going down hill fast before surgery, and directly after surgery I knew that I didnt feel the same pain as before.

my pain is more surgery related than back pain related and really it takes a full year to really be "recovered" from such an extensive surgery.

I am still thankful that I had the surgery but I also battled this for more than 10 years so it was time for me.

Thanks for answering. I'm around the 10 year mark and I've been praying over whether to go ahead and have surgery or not. It's not easy making the decision. If I knew I would be in less pain, great! But then you hear everyone's "horror" story of what can or does go wrong; and then I think, maybe not.

Anyway......So glad it was a success for you!

Just make sure the guy doing the surgery is using the latest techniques. that matters.

it is a vastly different surgery now than it was even 3 years ago.
