We Broke 1,000 Sunday!

We had 1,004 in attendance Sunday and it was just a regular Sunday. We were very excited!!! I have no idea what this Sunday (Easter) will be like. Praise God for His blessings!

This church is just such a miracle. We don't even understand why God's favor has rested on us in this season, but it's very humbling. To God be ALL the glory!

I've been waiting for this thread! I figured you must have been out of town since you haven't posted it yet. I started to Monday when I realized you hadn't, but decided I would leave the honors to you!

I actually looked to see if Renda had posted it, because I didn't know if anyone else on here knew it. It was a really exciting afternoon when we got all the final numbers in.

Plus, we took away 30, for the people who attend more than one service. That gives us a truer count each week of how many people we are actually reaching.

Re: We Broke 1,000 Sunday!

This reminds me of that old song the Gaither's used to do where Gloria spoke the part and said,

"God has a people.
God has always had a people............"

People are hungry for God even in this corrupt world we live in today. Thank you for providing a place where they can come to meet Him. You are truly SERVANTS of God.

Great news Sherri.

I recall a conversation with our pastor a few years ago.

I told him that our buildings would not hold all the people that God would send our way if we JUST preach the gospel. Jesus Christ and him crucified WITHOUT all the extra little gospels us OP folks think are necesary.

Sounds like you folks have that figured out. WOOHOO 1500 is not far away.

Re: We Broke 1,000 Sunday!

We start work on our new 1,400 seat sanctuary in a few weeks. Right now we are having five services on Sundays, so it's a little crazy. I'd like to think at some point, we could all be in service together, but we will probably always have more than one going.

I'm not complaining, BTW!!!!!!
