I live here because I pastor here, but I do love it here. I love the country, I would hate to live in the city.

I am not much of a city person either. Last August we moved from out in the country to a subdivision on the outskirts of a farily small town that is a bedroom community to Nashville.

Even though we are almost out in the country and the subdivision has 1/2 acre lots it is still hard to get used to living in civilization!

Thanks. Jess spent a year in Germany as an exchange student when she was 18. That was much much harder for me than this year in Austria. The only time I felt any apprehension was when she went to Turkey for a week back in February.

I'm sure you were relieved when your son left Iraq. My sons have talked about the military but I'm hoping (and praying for God's will) that they'll stick it out in college.

Have they considered attending Westpoint?or the Coast Guard Academy?

I couldn't really vote either.

I live here because it's where my job is - I hope to not live in Memphis the rest of my life, but right now there's no other choice.
