Why Should One SpeaK?
Three Primary Reasons to Speak
(One could think of more, but I believe these are primary.)
TO BE CORRECTED: Now, this might not refer to those who have
already attained perfection within their profession (the physicist, rocket
scientist, and so on: even the apostle of the Lord). But even they will,
however, acknowledge that they are open to suggestions, or even allow
for that occasional correction!
No, I am referring to most people in most walks of life. Our primary reason
to speak (if we are really speaking with a humble heart), should be to be
corrected. Yes: especially if we make our position [publicly] known!
TO CORRECT: This would be the Lord's primary reason: to correct all
the
errors brought about by the tradition of the elders in the Temple. After all,
there had been 400 years of silence between Malachi and Matthew. Imagine:
400 years without the voice of a prophet, or even the administration of the
sacrifices of the Law! So correction had to be the Lord's primary purpose, or
haven't you heard: " What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with
authority commands he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him."
Have you been born to that calling? Neither have I: but we are born INTO
the Lord's calling, "For by grace are you saved, through faith..." So it is
not we, but He that imbues with power. And it is we that must learn and
grow into His grace.
TO BE HEARD: There it be! The reason the natural man speaks: to be
heard of men: the reason the carnal priesthood prayed in public: to be SEEN
of men. "Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."
We see men scrambling for the highest places (in commerce, the military, and
in politics). Should we ignore religion? We have been called to "...covet the
best gifts...": does that not include the Ministry, also? Have we not been
admonished to follow after the things of God, and not men? For it is the Lord
that calls and places men to serve the Church.
His NAME is Jesus.

1. C'mon Radar (our dog's name cuz he has big ears), lets go outside for a walk.
2. Have I told you yet today how beautiful you are? (to my wife)
3. Awesome grades baby girl. You make me so proud. (to my daughter)
