I know that IHOP had Oneness people with them in the very beginning of their foundations... but look at what IHOP is: INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAYER!
There is power in the kind of personal holiness they advocate.
I'm afraid we deny this at the peril of our own closeness to God-- we have the Truth-- AND WE DO-- but they don't so the holiness they seek is unnecessary as "someone" (maybe it will come in a form of a dream) reveals to us the freedom we have to live more loose than some charismatics!

Misty has been at IHOP since it began. She is a legend to many because of her prayer life and fasting for weeks at a time. As a young woman she committed to Jesus she would not date, marry, or have her own home for 10 years.
At the end of it she re upped but I dont know how long the consecration is this time. I love and appreciate Misty as her songs were hard hitting songs of loving Jesus, judgment and personal holiness.
I have not payed as much attention to IHOP as I did from about 2009-2012. In those days I was much blessed by them. Some things seem to have gone the wrong way since then but I sure haven't written them off.
People becoming members of IHOP are expected to repent and be baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with tongues.
So far they are still Trinitarians but I pray if God needs to raise up people preaching truth and lead them OUT of IHOP that he will do it.
If I were Trinitarian IHOP would be my Church.

The reason I asked if several on this forum believed if one repents and gets baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and receives the Holy Ghost with tongues if they are born again is because this is what is happening at IHOP.

Do you have any source for this? This isn't what ihop's SOF says.

Misty Edwards promote mysticism and contemplative/centering teaching.
I guess they are having some problems with the repenting and Holy Ghost part of what you been posting.
