It taught me the 10 commandments etc from my youth. It caused me to obey Acts 2:38 because it was too holy for me to attempt to keep.

You need an interpreter because you haven't the foggiest idea what you are saying. Jesus was talking about the destruction of the GRAVE, and the wicked's finality. Not that you will be consumed by maggots eternally. Just like Jesus wasn't talking about people amputations, or John the Baptist wandering outside of Abraham's Bosom without his head. All while Eliezer/Lazarus is an oozing bleeding mess laying alongside Abraham.

Re: What's your view on Hell?

I see what you think. The fire is not quenched and their worm dies not but they do. That means Jesus was saying eternal hell is for their worms, not the lost persons. I could never try to explain that to someone.

Also, Jesus was indeed speaking of self amputation. These folks were attempting to save themselves by the Law that condemned them so Jesus simply defined the Laws requirements to them since they failed to keep it.

So, Jesus was speaking metaphorically? As far as how one's condition would be in the afterlife? the law stated that a women who tried to help her husband in a fight against another man, by grabbing the man's privates. May have her hand cut off, yet no one believed she would be actually handless in the after life?

If Jesus specifically says something it is our best interest to agree with him. Disagreement with his “worm dieth not” and “unquenchable fire” statement is above my pay grade. I will leave that to the experts.

People aren't "disagreeing with Jesus" about the worm not dying. We are disagreeing with your interpretation of what that means.

But you already know that. Have you ever posted using the username "Sean"? Will you ever answer that question? What are you trying to hide? And why in the world would you be so wrapped up in a virtual reality that you must avoid that question like the plague?
