Is It A Good Sign, Bad Sign, Not A Sign?
Guys, I really don't want to attend services 3 times a week.
I don't want to be gently encouraged to do so either.
Or maybe I just don't want to attend this church 3 times per week...
I think the problem lies in me, but I really could be doing something else with my time other than services 3 times a week.
I could understand 2 services and a Men's Group fellowship or something.
But I feel like I am being churched out.
Please advise.

Re: Is It A Good Sign, Bad Sign, Not A Sign?
Have been attending a small, Trinitarian Holiness church for a while now. I guess I knew what I was signing up for when I decided to make this place my church home.

JD, this situation is that church is a family. It isn't a place to go. Growing up you never told your friends that you only went home three days a week.

I assume you've prayed about it. What do you feel the Spirit leading you to do?

Re: Is It A Good Sign, Bad Sign, Not A Sign?
If the services are identical, I see no need to repeat the process 3 times per week. If 3 different meeting venues were per week, it would be healthier for the church body and for individuals.
Sunday school rocks. But I would not want it 3 times per week.
So, I attend Sunday school and I attend a worship service.

My question would be what something else would you be doing with your time?
Are you fellowshipping others of like faith? Are you reaching out to community building the kingdom? Are you just sitting alone at home doing nothing?
We have service once a week, but the rest of the time we are involved with community. Of course we all work, but even in our work we are reaching out to others. Just yesterday I spent over an hour talking to a customer about God.
