Knights In Service of Satan & Other Conspiracies
Remember when the rock band KISS supposedly was an acronym for "Knights In Service of Satan"? I remember growing up that there were lots of conspiracies that circulated about bands and music and the evil lurking beneath. Remember "backward masking"? What are some other conspiracies you remember from back in the day?

Similar to the Kiss name, my cousin once told me the rock band AC/DC was an acronym for 'Against Christ, Devil's Child. I then once caught an interview with one of them stating that they saw the power label on their sister's sewing machine and thought it sounded cool.

Your truck would be returned by the person who repossessed it,
Your Dad would get out of jail,
Your dog would come back to life,
Your best friend would send your wife back home,

You would quit your job in Dee-troit
The little old country church would reopen,
etc.

I remember John Todd making the rounds with his tapes throughout the UPC. He was high priest in the Illuminati and personal witch to JFK. lol

John Lennon was asked about the "hidden messages" in some of his songs. He thought it was ridiculous and played with the pundits in "I Am the Walrus". He thought the line, "lemon yellow custard dripping from a dead dog's eye" would make people go crazy!
He was right.
In Abby Hoffman's book, "Revolution for the Hell of It", he said he and other Yippies looked to the Beatles' hidden messages for their political inspiration. Kind of scary looking back on it. I don't think even Lennon knew the amount of influence he had at the time. Their musical "messages" inspired not only the Yippie Party in '68 and '72, but also Charles Manson and his interpretation of "Helter Skelter".
I heard about KISS and AC/DC, but that was Waaaaaay after my time! lol

Lol..the reason the group KISS was formed was just cause it was a cool way to get the girls.Wasnt any big ulterior motive.
