10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his nameL

How long is forever and ever? Does annihilation provide no rest?

Re: What's your view on Hell?

Revelation is a revealing of fact that has not been revealed in the OT.

The lake of fire is mentioned in one chapter in the bible.
And correct me if Im wrong, its referring to a place called “Gehenna”which means “Valley of Hinnom,” referring to a valley just outside Jerusalem.
Jesus referenced this place again while speaking tp the Pharisees and scribes in the seven woes of Matthew 23.

Matthew 23:33
Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

then just three verses later,

Matthew 23:36
Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

Even in the chapter you were quoting, it mentions the "great city", which I would think was Jerusalem.

My question is do you think it was possible that the "lake of fire" was created for that age?

Also do you think sinners can become part of the demonic force?

They still worship the beast while in torment?

How does a spirit rest?
Or why do many translations use “waterless” places? What does that say about the abiding place inside of man?

Re: What's your view on Hell?

Death, hell, and the grave are destroyed at the final judgement, which means they cease to exist.

The destruction of death will lead to the renewal of the entire created order. It will become a perfect home for the Lamb and his bride. Rev 21:1-22:5

Along with the destruction of death in the lake of fire will be the destruction of all that is evil, including anyone not written in the book of life.

Revelation 20:11-15
English Standard Version
Judgment Before the Great White Throne
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Re: What's your view on Hell?

At the last judgement all enemies will be destroyed, all power and authority contrary to God's kingdom will be destroyed, and the last and final enemy to be destroyed is death.

If casting death in the lake of fire means it ceases to exist, then all else that is cast in the lake of fire will also cease to exist.

1 Corinthians 15:23-26
English Standard Version
23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. 24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
