MOW meets prominent UPC pastor on cruise...in speedos!

Yes, you read correctly! I was cruising around the ship and NOTICED a distinctly UPC couple. The man looked familiar so I asked him if we had ever met before and told him that he looked familiar to me. He introduced himself and told me where pastored in Ohio. (close to home for Renda) We exchanged small talk as I mentioned that I used to be in the UPC.

Oh, and by the way, I was the one in speedos!!!!!!!

Hope you didn't put a damper on their cruise.....lol!!!!!

ha. Damper wamper...he just gave them something to tell all their friends about when they get home!!!!!

Reminds me of a vacation once in Florida.

There were about 14 of us at the Destin Hilton, we walked into the hot tub area to see our pastor (UPC) and his family in their swimsuits and relaxing.

Couldn't decide if their faces were sunburned or not................lol!

haha...reminds me of the time some friends went to Hawaii, and ran into some people from the neighboring UPCI church- all in their swimsuits, sunbathing.

To this day, they turn away from them when they meet head-on in a meeting somewhere, and that's been over 6 years ago!!!

Is that a spirit of pride that wuold make you wear speedos?

Or are the speedo's you wear the long one and not the tiny ones? Not sure I want to find out........

He's posted a pic of them.....they are the long, full kind - not the stretching biker kind.

That is for sure! Yes, we are having fun! We are currently on Kauai getting ready to leave for the afternoon. We rented a Mustang convertible and are cruisin with the top down!!!
