- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

So Jesus was a fear monger when he prophesied of the end times?

Id say just mark him as a false prophet if he misses it. If folks still "follow him", they're ate plum up any way.

If he is proved wrong, he needs to have a good talk with some elders whom he submits to and listen to some really good advice. Don't throw him under the bus.

All I know is that this prophecy doesn't help me, even if it comes true.
Reminds me of a couple who changed churches back in the day.
Their old pastor had "prophesied" that if they changed churches, their kids would die.
He was somewhat of a nut.
When they told my pastor this he said in his best preacher voice, " Yea, thus saith the Lord they shall not die".
Needless to say, HE was not the false prophet.

When my second daughter was born a dear brother of mine called up and told me that my new born baby would die because of the eschatology I believe. I asked him if he could pray with me that the Lord would show mercy on the innocent child who didn't even know Him. We prayed, the brother is still my brother, and my daughter is 12 years old.
A lot of talkers in religion.
I thank and praise God they are only talkers.

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Irving Baxter Jr has been telling us that the greatest fulfillment in 2,000 years has happened how may times? Listen, it gets to a point when people expect it. So, the next time someone comes along with the hoopla some people swoon, and other people roll their eyes. JA, obviously has a following and doesn't really care what anyone on Youtubes, or AFF has to say about his ministry. From Brother Stoneking to Charles MaHaney I heard some far out predictions, but like opinions, they sometimes hit the bullseye, and sometimes they drop the watermelon. People pretty much take it all in with a grain of salt. People love these men, whether they make a basket or not, they still love them.
While I myself have little patience for Pentecostal Spookiness mingled with drama, I can understand why it continues to draw a crowd.
