Or, not so much. Hindsight may not be 20/20, but it is much better than foresight.

Generally, it seems that the gov, sheriff and police chief are wanting this to go away.

Tony Spell? Not so much. He is seeking a permanent injunction against the interference of the powers that be, in the rights of Americans to assemble and worship. I think he’s right, at least from a legal perspective.

Time has marched on, and maybe the water is not quite so muddy. Anybody want to flaunt your wisdom?
I don’t agree with Bro. Spell on how he conducted himself with this issue. The Bible photo op, the raising the martyr hand walk, and the pretending to back into the mocker at the church entrance. If he feels that he was justified and God was on his side through all that, Lord Bless him.

I don’t believe the Government is our enemy, they can take our guns, take our buildings, they’re still not our enemies. This mindset that we need to fight against the government is anti-Christ. They can come and take our church buildings, they can tell us to stop having service, God will see us through the darkest tunnel.

Get ready folks, what other followers have experienced on the other side of the globe there whole life is coming to a city near you. Watch and Pray....

I still don’t believe the Covid scare was as big as they made it out to be.

It’s times like these that we depend on the spirit for guidance. As the Spirit leads we follow. We’re commanded to be wide as servants and harmless as doves.

Doves don’t carry side arms either... Just thought to throw that in as well.

And yet, the apostles carried swords and Jesus even told them to sell their cloaks and buy swords. Just thought to throw that in.

Of course Jesus did tell his disciples to buy a sword. So there’s that.

Re: Tony Spell has church in spite of the ban

Luke 6:22-23
Blessed are you when men hate you,
And when they exclude you,
And revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
For the Son of Man’s sake.
Rejoice in that day and leap for joy!
For indeed your reward is great in heaven,
For in like manner their fathers did to the prophets.

Example of prophet that was persecuted, and killed, and preached before the Captivity:

Jeremiah 1:17
“Therefore prepare yourself and arise,
And speak to them all that I command you.
Do not be dismayed before their faces,
Lest I dismay you before them.
[And also buy a rifle and some grenades because I will anoint you to defeat anybody that comes to get you]

Oops, corrupt manuscript

Here is Paul:

1 Corinthians 4:11-13
To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure [with AKs and tactical pants]; being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.

Man, I must be copying from the Vaticanus manuscript or something. Too much corruption .

Anyway, maybe there is a time and season?

This is what happens when you merge patriotism and religion. Allahu akbar.

By all means Brother, buy a sword. I’m not against a man buying a sword.

I agreed with you when you were replying to Scott how God could protect the church thru this pandemic while churches were still holding services. If you believe that, then why cannot God protect you through a violent situation.

If we need a Smith & Wesson or an AR-15 to be our protector then I’m not surprised by so many in the church are frustrated because as they call on God he doesn’t answer.

If medication, firearms, bank account, jobs, etc. take away from God at all then we’re not serving him.
